On Friday depart U.S.A. for Warsaw via overnight flight.
2nd Day/Sat - WARSAW. Arrive in Warsaw. Meet your driver who will take you the hotel in city center. Time to rest and catch a first glimpse of the Polish capital. At 8:00 PM meet other tour participants and your tour guide for a welcome dinner. (Dinner)
3rd Day/Sun - WARSAW-GDANSK. Enjoy buffet breakfast in your hotel. Half day tour of Warsaw, including the Royal Route with all its famous statues, buildings and churches, the Royal Lazienki Park with Palace on the Water, F. Chopin’s monument and the Old Town area with the Royal Castle Square, St John’s Cathedral, the Old Town Market Square. In the afternoon depart for the Baltic coast to the Tricity area (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia). Evening free to walk around the old town. (Breakfast, Dinner)
4th Day/Mon - GDANSK-Gdynia-Sopot. This morning tour the beautiful city of Gdansk, its Dluga Street promenade, Neptun's Fountain, the Gothic St. Mary's Church. Continue to the Oliwa Cathedral where you will hear an organ concert played on the magnificent Rococo organ with moving angels. In Sopot you will walk on the longest Pier on the Baltic. Return to Gdansk via Lenin's Shipyard, the birthplace of Solidarity. (Breakfast, Dinner)
5th Day /Tue - GDANSK-Malbork-TORUN. After breakfast, depart for medieval city of Torun. En route stop in Malbork to visit the fortified castle of the Teutonic Knights in the 15th century, the largest brick castle of Europe. Continue to the Torun, a UNESCO site, best known as birthplace of the greatest Polish astronomer, N. Copernicus. City tour will acquaint you with its gothic monuments. Evening is free to experience its medieval atmoshere. (Breakfast, Dinner)
6th Day/Wed - TORUN-WROCLAW. Today your coach departs for western Poland and historic city of Wroclaw called "Venice of the North" for its location on the Odra River connected by 123 bridges. Despite its extensive destruction during the WWII, Wroclaw preserved most of its landmarks from the 11th century which you will see today. In the evening you might like to take a boat ride and see Wroclaw by night. (Breakfast, Dinner)
7th Day/Thu - WROCLAW-Czestochowa-Auschwitz-KRAKOW. This morning you will journey to Czestochowa, pilgrimage center of Poland with Jasna Gora Monastery where a miraculous icon of the Black Madonna is venerated. After lunch, continue to Auschwitz to visit the former Nazi concentration camp now a martyrdom museum. Arrive late in Krakow and check-in at your hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
8th Day/Fri - KRAKOW -Wieliczka. Today you will spend discovering medieval treasures of Krakow including the St. Mary's Church with the biggest Gothic altar and the Wawel Hill with the Coronation Cathedral from where Polish kings ruled for four centuries. In the afternoon drive to Wieliczka Salt Mine, a unique world class attraction, a UNESCO site. Here on a 1.3 mile tourist route you will explore fascinating underworld with chapels, grottoes, lakes and even a sanatorium for asthma patients. Return to Krakow for overnight. (Breakfast, Dinner)
9th Day/Sat - KRAKOW. After breakfast, termination of tour services. Transfer to the airport for your return flight home. (Breakfast).
We strongly recommend to stay in Krakow another day to discover more attractions of this fascinating city, best shopping, great restaurants and wine cellars, cozy cafes and world-class museums. We will make reservations for you at the same hotel for additional nights.
